Quick Start Guide PREMO DUO

Disclaimer:  The user is required to observe and adhere to the currently applicable instruction manuals for all Vemaventuri products utilized.

 

Step 1:

• Check the sensor, cable, connector, housing, and membrane for damage
• Make sure the sensor is free of air bubbles
• Prepare the required tools:
  
  • Screws
  • Grease (e.g. Vaseline)

 

Step 2:

Determine and mark the positions of the sensors.

• The distance between the sensors should be approx. 1.5 m for an 5.40-m-high wall.

• Position the sensors in the lower part of the formwork.
• An additional series of sensors will increase the accuracy.

 

Step 3:

• Fix the drilling template to the DUO formwork.

• Drill the hole for the sensor into the formwork using the hole saw. 

  
  

 

Step 4:

• Grease the membrane and housing (recommendation: Vaseline).

 

Step 5:

• Place the sensor on the formwork and tighten it with 2 screws at the top and bottom.

• Install the protective cover and secure it with two screws on the right and left sides.
   
  

 

 

Step 6:

• Affix the Node safely and securely near the measuring points.
• Connect the sensors to the PERI bus connection of the Node and to each other using XLR cables and splitters as needed.

 

 

Step 7:

• Switch on the Node.
  The measured data from the sensor is received automatically.
• Switch on the Hub.
  Measurements can also be taken when the Hub is switched off. The measured values are stored in the Node. The Hub receives the stored values as soon as it is switched on.

 

Step 8:

• Document the node number and position or installation heights of the pressure sensor in the formwork.

 

The PREMO Duo is compatible with Hub & Node and ISC Link systems.
